As supporters of non league football we are suggested you drop the newly adopted law banning the consumption of alcohol within the ground at matches.
Reasons for this include,
A drop in revenue to Non League football clubs, many of whom rely on income from bars and alcohol to help sustain the club.
Taking this enjoyment and freedom away from supporters will have a negative effect on attendances, income, and atmosphere.
Non league football clubs already have to rely heavily on outside sources to maintain the running of the club, without added pressures of the Football Authorities affecting the income to clubs and enjoyment of fans.
Please think of the damage this will cause to grass roots football.

- In my opinion this potentil new ruling will only have a negative effect on the grass roots game, where many clubs rely on revenue from their bars for survival.

- Non league clubs rely on their income from bar sales there has never been any trouble at our level regarding things, leave it how it is. Otherwise we cant afford to pay your ridiculous fines you hand out!!!

- What a pointless move this is by all those concerned. In all mt years supporting local football I have never witnessed any trouble , in actual fact I I cant even remember witnessing anyone acting in a drunken disordally manner either! All this law will do is put even more pressure on small clubs making any revenue.

- An absolutely ridiculous idea. Yet another attack on our civil liberties. This will only hurt non-league football if it goes ahead.

- What a ridiculous idea. You are having far to many meetings and obviously have nothing better to fill your time at them than to continualy impose restrictions on clubs along with extra fines and more and more costs with ground upgrading year on year. If you are not carefull you wont have any clubs left to fine or impose rules upon. They will all be bankrupt.
