We, the undersigned, oppose the closure of Brooklands College's Ashford campus.

We believe that the Ashford Campus is a vital part of the Spelthorne community, and that it's closure will seriously affect the delivery of further education in North Surrey.

We demand the Learning and Skills Council honour their funding commitment to Brooklands College as outlined in the merger documents approved by Bill Rammell MP at the Department for Education and Skills.

    • I can not believe this decision has been taken to close a College when the Goverment is constantly telling children to persue further education. So twofaced. I am so angry for all the children in the area & the local business that will suffer. Ashford is already losing local businesses & becoming a ghost town now this will make it worse. I have no faith left at all in our Governments!
