We as sportsmen of the State of Illinois appreciate the hard working staff of the IDNR. We realize that there is only so much time and money for important projects through-out the state. By signing this petition, we hope to stop great losses that this fishery receives every year from fish going over the spillway. We wish that our tax dollars be allocated toward finding a permanent solution of the fish loss at Shabbona Lake during the fiscal year of 2010. We all know how good the fishing at Shabbona Lake is, but we also understand how great it could be if we can stop the fish loss.
