We the filmmakers and visual effects artists of world are shocked, appalled and dismayed at Apple's disregard for the most used and well known compositing application on the planet. We petition Apple to continue the sales and development of Shake and it's nodal interface without cumbersome "Pop-up" HUDs (heads up display.) Motion is not an adequate replacement.

We would also ask that Apple extend even further it's commitment the graphic arts community that has supported Apple through even the most difficult times by acquiring 3D application intellectual properties to help to better guide the development of Shake because of how integral 3D content is to compositing in the 21st century.
