We would like to see the actual Hermione in the Harry Potter films, not a 'poptart' Hermione. The Hermione Granger we read about in the books does not wear tons of pink, wear a rainbow belt, curl her blondish hair perfectly, and wonder what it looks like from the back. Maybe that's what Emma Watson does, but not Hermione. We do not blame Emma Watson completely for the corruption of Hermione because we know that she couldn't do it ALL herself, but for some ODD reason we find Movie!Hermione progressing into Emma Watson with every new film. This defeats the purpose of acting, folks! She is supposed to become the character, not make the character become her! We would like to see Book!Hermione in the films. Book!Hermione has bushy, brown hair. She is very bookish and doesn't have much of a sense of style. She is pretty much a nerd, dork, bookworm, whatever you want to call it. Yet, we hear that Hermione is now "Girl Power! Rock 'n' Roll!" Uh, no. Sorry.
Our mission is to save Hermione. Before she turns into some Spicegirl-pink loving-girlish-Emma Watson! If this doesn't stop, soon her lines will consist of:
"omgz!11 lyke woah Harry!1one1 You lyke totally killed Voldemort!!one1111!!"
We must not let this happen.

    • Hermione is progressing into a teen girl squad member. Hermione isn't supposed to be some preppy sidekick flirting madly with her best friends. Hermione isn't supposed to remind us of every brainless girl we've ever met. Hermione's character should not turn into Emma Watson's personae. It's wrong, and doing such injustice to Book!Hermione!

    • I think the people making this petition are absoulutely right. The true fans of the Harry Potter books know that this Hermione is not the real Hermione! Hermione is supposed to be the very opposite of what she was portrayed as in the PoA movie. Nothing against Emma Watson, of course, I love her, she's a doll, but book!Hermione has vanished from sight. She's no where to be found! Right now, I can't even tell movie!Hermione apart from Emma! And that's really not good. I'm glad people are finally making this petition, but I'm surprised people haven't done it before now.

    • Emma Watson is doing a very poor job of portraying Hermione! it is a total shame that she is still in the Harry Potter movies. she has brought disappointment to fellow HP fans! pulse Ron should be able to get his lines back! NO ONE deserves ron's lines other then Ron, Rupert Grint, becuase the lines are ment for him and not some pretty, pretty princess actress! so please get hermione, emma watson, a new script, or get her fired! either or just get her out! thank you for letting me rant and rave about this matter.
