We feel that for too long the government has engaged in a wasteful pogrom against marijuana, a drug that is demonized by society yet has demonstrated many beneficial effects for individuals with debilitating conditions. In order to begin effecting real change in our drug policy, we strongly urge our representatives in the government to vote in favor of H.R. 2835 to begin the decriminalization process and allow the ill in our society access to any treatment that may bring their conditions a respite.
