We, the very united people of South India, implore Sir Lalit Modi to please reconsider his decision to make South Indian teams to play against each other. It is heartbreaking for us to be caught between the Bhogi Fire and the frying pan of Dosa. We feel so guilty tucking our falling lungis twisting our 'molathaadu', wishing for a fellow sambar sniffer to choke on his pickle.

Please, dear sir Modi of such imperial vision, we beg you to assuage this pain, for the sake of that final bonda smeared with gongura and cocunut chutney, for the sweet stink of coconut oil on our itching moustaches, for A.R. Rahman, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Tinu Yohannan, Upendra, Shakila, Veerappan, RajKumar, for nimaggi, for Bhimas Special Idli and for paneer soda and peech mitayi.
