Petition to have Offend Your Friends play Skappleton

I hereby sign this petition stating that Offend Your Friends should play Skappleton 2008. This should be so for a number of reasons. They have been a staple of the Wisconsin scene for over 5 years. They also were on the bill last year. In addition they play shows year round, unlike many of the bands that are now listed on the bill. They also will invigor the show by not being another rubber stamp of 3 horned checkered ska. In addition they are also from Wisconsin, the state of the event, when some of the other acts our not. I hereby agree that their non consideration for the show was done to silence those not in the music establishment and breeds mediocrity.

    • These guys definitely deserve to be on the bill this year. They are one of the smaller, yet better bands that have played with National headlining acts throughout the year. They even went on after laste year's skappleton to open for Anti-Flag and Bomb the Music Industry. Whoever decided to exclude them from the list has made a poor decision, by conforming to the traditional cookie cutter ska. As the coordinator for last year's Skappleton, I believe it would be more than a great show with their energy, experience, individuality, and they're also one of the nicer bands that play for the music and fans. Skappleton is at a loss for not including them this year.
