Two people who chose to believe that the church will be a better rescue than a hospital die of their sicknesses somewhere in Sri Lanka. It appears that a priest in a church also actively reinforced the belief of these deciples.
Obviously, the Sri Lankan police should investigate the case and bring those responsible to justice.
Please see what really happened next. A group of mob with some Buddhist monks (apparently not practicing Buddhists) take the law to their hands and storm the religious place: http://www.dailymirror.lk/DM_BLOG/Sections/frmNewsDetailView.aspx?ARTID=66946
The police do not arrest a single criminal with such direct evidence that can be seen in the video above.
There are few things the Sri Lankan Government should worry about:
1. The absence of prompt action from the police and lawlessness is what prompts people to take the law to their hands, and one day grow to organized terrorism.
2. The above behavior of monks is an utter disgrace to Buddhism, and Buddhists across the Globe. As a Government with a pledge to protect Buddhism, it must take action to prevent terrorism and fundamentalism creeping into the practice of Buddhism, which beleives in inner tranquility and peace.
It is apparent that the Government, till today has neglected both.
Yours sincerely,
Thrishantha

- This is disgusting, a petition initiated by a humanitarian among the majority Sinhalese community of Sri Lanka pathetically received only five responses, one happens to be Tamil. What is wrong with the caring humanitarians, true Bhuddhists from Sri Lanka? They cannot even speak up when the freedom to practice their faith is being taken away by religious leaders. The majority Sinhalese keep opening doors to neighbouring Tamils fleeing pogroms!. Never speaking up against such violations comes through by the number of responses to this petition !!! This is shameful for culturally rich Sri Lanka with so many literates keeps driving Sri Lanka even further into a ditch.

- Almost all christians, muslims, sikhs & jews are terrorists. Christian priests are the biggest terrorists, because they bribe terrorists, criminals & even children to murder non-christians. Ref.: www.vidhu2.blogspot.com
