Universal: Please Release Sliders on DVD

The goal of this petition is to get Sliders released on DVD. Despite its decline in quality towards the last half of the third season, we would love to have this show released. Content that MUST be included:

The first two (and maybe the third) seasons with all episodes uncut and in their original filmed order. The broadcast order was very different from the filmed order, which resulted in destroying show continuity.

Optional content (if it's possible to obtain the actors/creators/said content):

Interviews with the original cast: Jerry O'Connell, John Rhys-Davies, Sabrina Lloyd, and Cleavant Derricks

Interviews with the show's creators: Tracy Torme` & Robert K. Weiss

Deleted Scenes: For example, the scene where Quinn explains the inner workings of the timer towards the end of the episode "Summer of Love." Perhaps even the Tracy Torme` cameo in the pilot, or the scene where The Cryin' Man sings The National Anthem. Or even the music video of Cleavant performing "Cry Like a Man.")

Universal, we would be eternally grateful if you could release Sliders on DVD. What's more important is that this DVD release gets the treatment it deserves.

    • It is my opinion that Sliders is one of the best SciFi TV series' ever created. Releasing it to DVD would be a very good idea considering how much money you would make with just the pilot episode out on DVD.

    • As former president of the Unofficial Sliders Fan Club, I was going to start a petition for a DVD release, glad to see one already, but it should also be directed to the SciFi Channel for I believe they hold the rights to sliders.
