This petition is aimed at stopping sick slash fiction groups posting their filth on the internet. All slash groups should be made illegal and authors of such stories should face legal action and even incarsoration for the most abusive stories.

These groups post fictional stories of childrens television and movie characters engaged in homosexual activities and should be taken off the internet as it is nothing short of pornography aimed at children and they should classify this as child abuse.

These groups post stories about 10 year old male Harry Potter characters such as Harry himself and Draco Malfoy, as well as Star Wars characters including young Anakin Skywalker and Obi-wan, and other childhood heros engaging in acts too vile and illegal to mention. Some stories already brought to our attention involved a pre-teenaged Harry Potter being raped by Serverus Snape. Is this the kind of fiction you want your children to be reading?

We feel that posting rape and abuse fiction about Harry Potter is as bad as paedophiles posting naked pictures of children on the internet and authors of such stories should face the same legal action. When we first meet Harry in the books he is 10 years old, and even by the latest book he is still only 14 years old. How can these evil monsters feel they can justify such filth that is clearly aimed at children, innocent kids who are so obsessed with Potter and their other childhood heros that they go out of their way to look for fan fiction on him and stumble across this sickness.

We must stop this filth as it is nothing short of grooming children and the people responsible for such groups should face legal action and jail.

    • Whilst surfing the internet with my 8 year old daughter on what i assumed were child-friendly Harry Potter sites we came across what i can only class as child abuse stories. This is the reason i joined the Anti-Slash group and why i feel all groups with slash fiction should be removed from the internet. How slash writers feel they can defend the paedophillia they write is beyond me. Lets help to protect our children.

I think that you sould just get over it if you go on any respectable slash site there are blocks and walls that ask if you are seventeen or older. but most slash is of a pure and true nature where the two characters love eachother with a passion that is more innocent than the "harlequin" books except that it is two boys or two girls

Anyway, that's not what I wanted to say, all slash isn't like that, many storied are set when Harry is of age in the UK and therefore your allegations of child abuse are stupid. You have obviously been seeking out the more hardcore sites, which cannot be found through typing 'hp' into google, many of which require passwords! This is just a story. And do you people actually think that slash fics are the only places with underage sex? LOTS of het fics have them. Besides, many, many 14 year olds have had sex. Welcome to the 21 century. And whoever made the comment about how it is stupid, pairing enemies together, what about Hermione/Draco or Ginny/Draco? They aren't best friends. And to the parent who was upset about what her daughter saw about HP on the internet, if you would just turn on a parental control or some other such thing, you wouldn't have to worry about it. And frankly, most of the internet isn't appropriate for a lot of kids. I suggest that you wait a couple of years before you let your kid browse around on it. Just change what ratings are allowed and it will be fine. If you are so concerned, do not let your children go on search engines, or only allow them to go on certain sites. I think I am slightly homophobic, yet I see nothing at all wrong with slash writing, when done tastefully. Het writing is actually very bad for children to read a lot of the time, usually more graphic. I think it's time you all start being responsible parents and just don't let your kids go on the sites you don't like. Block them! Don't come whining here. There is nothing worse about slash fiction than het. The pairings are just as unlikely to happen that are used in stories. It's called FAN FICTION. People playing with the characters. Why don't you just write your own charming G-Rated fanfiction?
