Smallville is such a wonderful show. With over 8 seasons, Smallville has maintained ratings from three to five million viewers. NEVER has it fallen below three million.. Smallville is the heart of the CW. It is the number 1 show, brought in the most money, has a loyal fan base, etc.
Now due to Dawn Ostroff's orders, Smallville has been moved to Fridays. Seriously, How many people have time on FRIDAYS to watch TV? The ratings for the previous premiere were two and a half million. And if it continues to decline due to being on such a bad day, Smallville fans are worried that:
A) It might get cancelled, as another show on the CW was recently kicked.
OR
B) It may face major budget cuts.
Recently, "The Beautiful Life", was cancelled. Their Wednesday spot had been vacated, but is now being used to play replays of a non-hit show titled: "Melrose Place". The show already does horrible! What's the point of having replays of it?? If Smallville is to be moved to that spot, I can bet that It's ratings are going to be a hell of a lot better then what Smallville already receives on Fridays, let alone, beat "The Beautiful Life".

- Honestly, I have watched this show since inception on the WB, and it's finally getting the storyline that I've looked forward to seeing since the it all began. Don't let it slip through the cracks for shows like 90210 or Melrose Place which IMO are trashy and lack any originality. I would prefer Wednesday nights for Smallville, instead of reruns of a show that can't even drum up interest on the night it's aired live. Why let a quality show like Smallville which has been the anchor for this network for some time get bumped to the "death spot" of TV? It really doesn't make sense. If anything Smallville should air on Wednesday nights and then have reruns of it on Friday nights. This is crazy and a slap in the face to loyal fans!

- Promote the show weekly for new episodes, equal the balance. Move it to a deserving and respectable night. This show has the same life expectancy as all the other CW show, and some even lesser. Give SV back to the fans and let it ride out its final 2 season with honor and respect for what it has done for CW. Or you can count another viewer out for the rest of CW shows with the exception of SV

- Come on CW really purposely sabotaging the show that kept the network alive. This is how you reward the emmy winning show!? Season 10 is going to be the last, and maybe a movie outside your harm. You won't have to deal with it after that. So for now use it to your advantage at the same time make fans happy. Promote your flag ship, the show is being left in the lurch in the general audience barely knows the show is alive because you replace it and don' t promote. You're creating a lot of animosity that will make me choose another network worthy of my attention. I will boycott and only watch SV!!!!

- The cast and crew worked their butts to promote this season because CW wouldn't do it. They earned and deserve better. I'm disgusted by this maltreatment. Save and honor smallvile. You don't have a better show and the network will fail because you didn't properly utilize the show. Instead tried to rid of it. What a way to captitalize. Dawn O please think of what you're doing. Negelecting smallville has turned your network upside down. Face it, us youngster are tired of the repetitive trash, SV is the only unique show you have.
