PICTUREMAIL ON SPRINT PDA'S AND BLACKBERRY'S -
More Info at:
As loyal Sprint Nextel customers, and ardent smartphone fans, we are perplexed at the omission of Sprint Picture Mail (MMS) on these devices. Standard camera phones are automatically equipped with MMS, while smartphone users, who arguably pay a much higher premium in equipment and basic services for our choice of phone, are denied access. We respectfully request that Sprint Nextel make MMS/PictureMail services available on all Sprint/Nextel smartphones that are MMS/PictureMail capable as soon as possible.

- A smart phone is supposed to be a "Smart Phone" not a dumb phone. Customers who pay FAR less get the benefit of these extra services, while people who pay FAR MORE for their service especially people who are forced to pay a higher premium like BlackBerry users who have to pay $30-$45 extra a month for half the access of those who get Far more benefits and services/extras.

- Sprint is definitely behind the "curve" on this one....all the other wireless vendors have mms, even MetroPCS and Cricket offer that service. For as much as we loyal customers pay, this should be a no brainer!!!

- I believe all the MMS capabilities on my phone should be unlocked as I am paying full price for a service that is common on less expensive phones. Business people need photo capability as well, my company has recently switched from Sprint Nextel to Verizon. Where I have just received a Blackberry Curve phone for Verizon. This is one of the reasons my company switched from Sprint Nextel to Verizon Wireless. We have 10 Division in CA and one in Las Vegas from Sacramento all the way down to San Diego. So you can imagine the amount of business you have lost. I still have my personal cell phone through Sprint (HTC Touch) but now I will be using Verizon service and if Sprint doesn't compare I may be another lost customer. It would've never gotten to this point if key features were not blocked on capable phones and offered by Sprint's top competitors. Yes we can use email, but Sprint is not sensitive to the inconvenience that they put the consumer in learning the email addresses for phones from different carriers.

- To charge $30 or more for a BB data plan, and not include MMS is outrageous!

- I have a total of 4 phones on my account, 2 centros & 2 BB devices. I spend a LOT of money with Sprint (have been for the past 8 years) and I would expect that they would make what is now considered to be a basic service available to all of their customer, especially those who have paid a higher premium for their devices.
