  • ESPN Classic shows too many new games. I would like to see more classic basball and basketball playoff games, less 90's and 2000's games and much less college football games. Roller derby and 1950's pro wrestling is not classic sports either. I would also like to see actual NFL GAMES which have never been shown on the network. I would also like to see these games shown without so much editing, They should run 2 hours and 30 minutes instead of just 2 hours.

  • show this one: 1986 Atlanta Hawks vs. Chicago Bulls (game played in Atlanta on 12/10/1986. It's legendary, many highlights have been used by the NBA for home videos. Nique scored 57, Jordan 41!)

  • I stll love classic sports network, it just needs some fine tuning. I would love to see some true classics, NFL games from the 1970's, epsecially some MNF games. Also some of the classic college football games, especially from the late 60's and early 70's.

  • I would like to see more broadcasts of "vintage" sports games pre-1985. I rarely watch ESPN Classic anymore as they continually show broadcasts of recent late 90's & up games & other events which in my & others opinions are not "vintage classic" games. ESPN has taken a great concept on which "Classic" was first founded on before being bought by ESPN & turned it into a complete farce. They are losing & will continue losing loyal viewers as long as they continue this policy.

  • The idea of a classic sports network was great, especially when the moto was..."Are you old school?" Well now the moto of ESPN Classic is..."it doesn't have to be old to be a classic." Sounds good, but diehard sports fans want to watch the classic battles of Mich vs Ohio State or USC vs UCLA, not something that happened 2 months ago in which one team got blown out (see 2002 Rose Bowl being played constantly). ESPN has access to their entire vault as well as the vault of ABC sports, there has to be more there than games from the 90s and a handful of great games from 1960s-1980s. Show something worth watching, not something my 7 year old son remembers seeing (and this isn't a lie).

  • ESPN Classic should show "Classic" Games. Some Instant Games are ok, but you have to show more vintage footage. I say MORE GAMES & LESS SPORTSCENTURY BIOS.

  • What's happened lately with all the basically recent coverage of games? Initially, programming was exceptional but has progressively taken a turn for the worse. Fans want to see the old games, not recent ones.Perhaps the station should be renamed ESPN Recent Classic Programming. You're losing your audience with the programming the way it is now. Lets make ESPN the best by showing some real classics from the past.

  • Not enough vintage programming being showed. Some games shown 3 times in one day and Sports Century is great, but we don't need 50 of them a week, and the repeats. Bring back the vintage 70's and 80's in sports!!!!

  • Come on espn classic. The network and the audience is there. Lets see more games. Not just one game a night surrounded by millions of hours of Sports Century replays. The Sports Century things got old the minute you ran out of 50 greats and started running them on college athletes that haven't done anything worthy in their 19 years to have a memorium show about. More games. More games. More games. And lets see more variety in the games. There are many classic NCAA tournament basketball games that never get shown (ODU-Villanova or Alabama-Penn from 95, Duke-Cal from 93, Vanderbilt-Pitt from 88, NCState-Virginia from 83 are some suggestions) same with college football. Do we really need to see Miami-Nebraska again in Classic Florida? How about some NFL, Monday night ABC or ESPN games at the least. I guess what I am saying is MORE games, more VARIETY in games, LESS Sports Century. And try to keep the cutting to a minimum even if it means going to 3 hours for a football game slot.

  • I would like to see more NFL game of the week and team yearbook videos. I would also like to see old games in a 3 hour format. You have to cut out too much footage to squeeze it into 2 hours. I could live without the White Shadow and all the recent college basketball games. Sports Century is great, but I'd like to see them focus more on the four major team sports (football, hockey, baseball, and basketball).

  • Lets see more 60's and 70's events,that is what most ESPN Classic viewers have grown up with and cherish the most.And.without a doubt,show more NFL material,be it ABC Monday Night Football telecasts that are available to the network, or the NFL Films older compilation items.Lets face it-the older NFL material is the most desired programming of choice by the viewers

  • A few years ago when the channel was made available, there was plenty of old footage of all the major sports and I was in heaven. Now adays, whenever I turn over to ESPN classic, all I see are games from the last 5 years. Please bring back the 70's!
