To the Los Angeles City Council and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce:

We, the undersigned, request that Ringo Starr be awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his tremendous contributions to music as a member of the Beatles and as a solo artist. The Beatles changed the course of music and popular culture. As a solo artist, Ringo Starr has made records that will endure forever and has lent his efforts to many worthy causes, such as the Concert for Bangladesh and the recent David Lynch "Change Begins Within" concert.

Ringo Starr richly deserves this tremendous honor. We ask you to please make this happen.
