In 2008, us fans here at CHIKARAFans.com started up a petition to have a young man entered into the Young Lions Cup VI tournament. That young man was none other than Pinkerton D. Sanchez...and you listened to us! Little did we know how much of a success it would be, as Pinkie not only made his way into the tournament, but advanced onto the six-way semifinal and proven himself to be worthy of making semi-regular appearances since. The fans got what they wanted, the CHIKARA office got a man that they could depend on to entertain and come through in the clutch.

We, the undersigned, have turned our attention this year to a new man. A man that has had a stellar year in 2009, already becoming the winner of the Inter Species Wrestling Other Title. A man that has overcome the tremendous sorrow of losing his best friend to a mad terrorist cow. A man that has encountered multiple horrifying, skull crushing chair shots to the head, to the point where there are some weekends that he forgets who he is and calls himself "Bash Bison". Yes, friends, we turn from Pinkie to Stinky - Canada's Stinky the Homeless Guy!

Typically there are 16 representatives from various promotions throughout the world in the Young Lions Cup, and there's no reason that the new littlest hobo of the great white north can't find his way into the seedings of the prestigious tournament. I mean, really. If Gary the Barn Owl can show his face in CHIKARA in 2009, there's no reason we can't get a little bit of Stinky love in the YLC.

Let's do it, buddies. For the good of the world, and to keep a poor soul off the streets for at least one weekend.
