We are Star Wars fans whom have enjoyed the books setting before, between, and after the six films. We were disappointed in the fact that a Clone Wars novel written by science fiction author William C. Dietz (author of the Dark Forces novellas) entitled "Escape From Dagu" was cancelled. According to both wookiepedia and wikipedia this book was cancelled in favor of "Yoda: Dark Rendezvous". However, the mission of Jedi Master Shaak Ti on Dagu has been recognized as canon after being mentioned on Republic HoloNet News Core Edition 14:3:22 in Star Wars Insider 66 (March/April 2003). The Dagu mission was also confirmed by The Official Star Wars Fact File 116. Knowing that a novel of this mission of the Clone Wars has been written, we would like to see it in stores to experience the thrills and excitement of an existing chapter of the infamous Clone Wars.
We also feel that the cancellation of "Escape From Dagu" in favor of "Dark Rendezvous" was not a legitimate reason for its cancellation. You have approved of the release of novels such as the Republic Commando series who's main characters are not mentioned in any of the six movies; as well as the two Medstar novels that involved Barriss Offee, a Jedi Knight seen only briefly in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. We, the undersigned, therefore demand that "Escape From Dagu" finally be released to the public and cover an unexplored chapter in the Clone Wars.

- Yes, we should have Escape from Dagu, as it's about Shaak Ti, my favourite character and especially considering the fact that' she's seemingly killed in Force Unleashed!

- Sure, why not? I'm locked on starwars.com as it is, so this is pretty much all I can do to contribute to Internet Star Wars right now.

- I think it's a shame that we cannot enjoy this story. I would also accept a special release on Hyperspace also.

- I hope this does the trick. It's a shame it hasn't been printed yet. The reasoning for it is unsatisfactory.
