Bring back the Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe

This petition is directed to the Ford Motor Company.

We want the Thunderbird Turbo Coupe from the late 80's brought back! These cars were incredible in 1987-88. In those specific years, the cars looked unbelievable. Their style would still stand out from the cars of today, but still be widely accepted. The Turbo Coupes ran strong and sounded outstanding for a four cylinder turbo charged engine. The TC was impressive on gas (almost as good as some cars produced today) which would make it an easy seller today. Last but not least, they were fun to drive! Everyone today wants a car that they can enjoy driving!

We would like the next Thunderbirds that are produced to be modelled after the Turbo Coupes.

    • i Own an 87 tc, and after 189k miles it's just starting to die, so i've been on auto traider and ebay trying to find another one, I loved the 87-88 turbo coupe so much that me and my wife are going to fly from idaho to maryland to get one, but i love the new body stile of the thunderbird, and if ford made a new tc i would be first in line no matter what dent it would put in my pocket.

    • The 2.3L turbo I-4 in the TurboCoupe, Mustang SVO and Merkur XR4ti was a step forward. Bring in the Focus Cosworth as well

    • I own 6 87-88 TC's and if a new one came out I would buy 2! Forget the Mustang, I want style, turbo-power, and 4 seats!
