The Columbine High School killers gave each other a Nazi salute everyday but yet the teachers there could not post a list of the Ten Commandments. I strongly believe the Ten Commandments should be allowed in public places. One argument saying they should be allowed is there is no law more correct or moral. George W. Bush said, "Districts ought to be allowed to post the Ten Commandments, no matter what a persons religion is. Theres some inherent values in those great commandments that would make our society a better place for everybody." Here is a list of the Ten Commandments:
1. No other gods
2. No idols
3. Do not take Gods name in vain
4. Keep the Sabbath holy
5. Honor your father and mother
6. Do not murder
7. Do not commit adultery
8. Do not steal
9. Do not give false testimony
10. Do not covet
These are the laws we live by so why take them away. The Ten Commandments are etched into a wall of the Supreme Court and the U.S. Senate starts every session with a prayer. Our founding fathers would have wanted the Ten Commandments to be allowed in public places. James Madison said, "We have staked our future on our ability to follow the Ten Commandments with all our heart. George Washington said in his farewell adress, "You can't have National morality apart from religious principle." Twenty-seven biblical violations were stated by our Founding Fathers in the Declaration of Independence. I believe it is time for us, the citizens of the United States, to take back our country from the American Civil Liberties Union and allow the Ten Commandments to be allowed in public places.

    • but how about the other 3 commandments? You know- thou shalt rape the lineages of others into the fold, thou shalt murder all who don't agree with our agenda, and thou shalt keep slaves as long as they aren't Hebrew?

    • Stupid idiots. If you want to see a public display of the Ten Christian Commandments, then put up a billboard in your front yard. Don't ask the taxpayers to fund your religious agenda.
