Dear Andy Schmidt and IDW Publishing,

Transformers Fans the world over want TRANSFORMERS #81!

In a recent Q+A Simon Furman spoke of his interest in continuing the original Marvel Transformers universe and that doing so from #81 would be his personal preference.

The fans that buy Transformers comics dearly love many of the varied continuities, but this is THE original and in some opinions, the best.


We will purchase this comic.

We will walk into comic book stores each month, buy it online, buy the trades and special editions, and give it to our children.

This is a continuity we know and love.

Please hire Simon Furman to write this ongoing comic series!

    • I was about 13 when the original series (which I followed religiously) was cancelled. Would love to see more about the Ratchet/Megatron plot and Galvatron coming back.

    • I operate a comic store in Seattle and I'm very confident all my Transformer customers would be interested in this series. Sales for the GI Joe Real American series are still the strongest we have for all the GI Joe titles and I have a feeling the same could be said for a new Transformers project like this. As a fan of the original series I would also personally love to see this project come to life.

    • I grew up with this series, my parents bringing me to the now torn-down stationery shop in the next town and without fail I would buy Transformers Singles which were still there. Six years later, my dad hands me the Titan Reprint TPB of All Fall Down... well, the rest is history.
