We feel that you should modify Myspace so that the blind can utilize it easily and efficiently so as to not have to depend on anyone for any reason. One thing that you could do to modify it so as to make life easier is to provide a listen link for the captia. We understand and respect the fact that measures must be taken to rid spammers and fishers: however, we feel we should not suffer inconvenience as a result.
Should listen links not be provided for captia files, we are not able to opperate certain features on Myspace. We will then have to wait for someone to be right by our side to either tell us what the letters say in the image so we can enter them correctly: or, we will have to have them entered for us. This is unfair as we feel we have the right to change our page and other features when we have the slightest inkling just as the sighted population.
We petition that you make these changes in a reasonable time frame so we may also enjoy the opportunities provided by Myspace such as networking, promoting, and making friends.
For examples of how listen links work or to see sites that actually provide such a feature, check out the following;

www.craigslist.net
www.paypal.com
www.hotmail.com
www.blogspot.com
The entire blind community looks forward to seeing these changes.

- I would also add that I believe myspace's graphical components make it difficult to interface with jaws. I notice that JAWS freezes up for several seconds when simple commands are executed like putting links in a list view. When sending Emails to myspace members, one has to deal with captcha for every other email. This should be eliminated due to lack of accessibility amongst the blind.
