Whereas Tim Horton's has enjoyed tremendous success due to the patronage of the many Canadians who visit their store every day;

And whereas Tim Horton's has as a result of this success posted first quarter net profits of $61.8 MILLION

We the undersigned believe that the firing of a single mother of four children in London Ontario for giving a $0.16 "Tim Bit" to the child of a regular customer is dispicable and disgraceful. This type of mistreatment of an employee is disgraceful for a business which claims to be very community oriented.

We ask that the employee be re-instated in full and that she be compensated for any lost wages and be provided an apology.

    • Disgraceful. I can't believe that a Tim Hortons would fire an employee for giving a timbit to a child of a regular customer. This is the essence of the "community" based business that is dying a slow death in North America. I used to get a free cookie every time I went into my mothers favourite bakery with her, and now with the faceless big corporations that is all coming to an end. SHAME ON YOU TIM HORTONS!

    • I was once short changed 1 timbit in a twelve pack. It was the franchise owner that served me. I should have called the police and had him charged with fraud.

    • It is unbelievable that Tim Horton's would do this. I hope they will re-hire this girl with a very large apology!!!! I wonder how many customers will stop going to Tim's because of this.
