We the undersigned believe that Trader Joe's, an affordable retailer of quality, convenient, and healthy food options, is a much needed addition to our community. Furthermore, we believe that Trader Joe's would find a large customer base in La Vergne, TN, which contains one of the largest housing developments in Tennessee, is adjacent to the town of Smyrna, and is a convenient driving distance from the cities of Murfreesboro, Antioch, and Mount Juliet. The aforementioned cities and towns have a total population of over 264,000 people, but none of them has a comparable business of this nature. In fact, more than 1.2 million people live within a 25 mile radius of La Vergne.
