This is for all the NASCAR fans that watched the race at Daytona on 7-5-08 and were appauled by the completely terrible coverage that TNT gave millions of NASCAR fans. I'm going to try and post a link to this everywhere I can, but if anyone else knows of a place please post it up there also.

The commercial breaks inside of breaks were extremly pathetic. Pip window commercials should have never been. Announcers were in the middle of talking about things, and constantly TNT would chime in with a uncalled for commecial box. THIS WAS DAYTONA!!!! Thanks TNT for ruining my NASCAR experience on a holiday weekend at DAYTONA of all tracks.

- More commercials and commercial plugs then NASCAR coverage = A TERRIBLE RACE EXPERIENCE FOR FANS The fact that you would sale your new Wide Open Format as a plus for viewers because you would not have to cut alway to as many commercials is insulting. Last night's race was good. TNT's coverage made it crap.

- There are no words that can properly describe how annoyed we were over last nights TNT coverage of the Daytona race. The repeat commercials, the pop up commercials, Holly Hunter on the screen over and over. TNT's self promotion and The Repetitive Viagara commercials gave it the final curtain for us. We turned off the TV and went to the patio. BAD. Very BAD. We will go watch our races at the local short tracks from now on. NoTNT on our TV.

- The screen was taken up by the Coke Zero advertisment and if you had a smaller screen than mine (48 inches) it would have been un watchable! What a joke!

- Fully agree. The coverage was bad and poorly directed, and the commercials while supposedly to be less were actually more intrusive than ever.

- We all know Saving Grace and The closer are on TNT. And seriously we have a 120 inch tv and the bottom half was cut off for how many Coors commercials???? IT SUCKED!!!!

- I agree, to a point. ESPNs coverage of IndyCar is exceptional with the PIP commercials, BUT they have fewer commercials by far thanTNT ran on their coverage. I like the "Side-By-Side" that ESPN runs for IndyCar, and wish that more would do it, but not the way that TNT did. NASCAR doesn't just need to drop TNT, they need to get their act together and force ONE broadcast company to buck up and take the entire season (my vote would be for FOX... LOVE DW!). As a fan, I find it hard enough to figure out which two stations I need to flip to, now it is three. The TNT group (not including Larry Mac and the drivers) are at best mediocre, but generally have no business calling a race. TNT is Terrible Nascar Television.

- terrible camera views..to far away. Poor information provided on who wrecked/what was wrong with their cars/ who was still on track or behind the wall...just a lot talking..not much information...esp didin't like the softspoken announcer. I like Kyle Petty and Wally

- camera views from to far away, couldn't even tell which car was which most of the time. No up to date info on specific cars. Wally and Kyle ok..but need more specifics about race watching...not all back facts from 1945
