Dear Turtle Island Foods,
We the undersigned propose the inclusion of Australia on your list on International Distributors. For the last couple of years we have put up with substitute products, both of vegetarian and vegan nature. We have been pushed around by Sanitarium products which fluctuate between being available or not, and containing egg or not. We want the real thing. For all our snacks, lunches, gatherings and especially holidays, to be touched by Tofurky.
It has become somewhat a household name, to have Tofurky, and that tradition would surely be continued and supported by the amount of vegetarian and vegan people in Australia, not only for health or environmental reasons, but also for the welfare of the animals.
Last year it was alleged that Australia would be soon on the list, and now approaching the holidays again we question how far this project has travelled the pond.
Please give us a chance, you wont be let down!

- In addition to asking the company we can create demand for the product here by emailing our Coles and Wooworths stores and inquiring about or requesting Tofurky. I emailed woolworths about Quorn and they actually replied saying they would try to get Quorn products and were already negotiating with Quorn. Ive been craving a hearty sandwich since I became veg and the Tofurky Deli slices are the closest thing to a Turkey sandwich we could get.
