Bikers in South Africa against Toll Fees

This petition is based on the unfair practice of charging motorcycles the same fee as motor vehicles.
The fact that sitting at a toll booth, removing gloves and scratching through zips to find money, then having to close and replace clothing is time consuming, causing motorists behind to become enraged, leading to conflict and road rage

Please sign the petition whether you ride a bike or not against this silly and inpractical system

    • The logic that requires trucks to pay pay more than cars because of weight, wear and tear etc, should apply to motorbikes. Less weight and less wear and tear should attract a lower fee. At present the rules are not fair or consistent.

    • Toll gates serves a purpose for up keep of the roads that we all agree about but lets look at the ratio that trucks, bakkies and cars are using the tolls gates in comparison to bikers, ie: 1 bike per 1000 cars and we have to the same fees as those that abuse and destroy our roads.

    • Motorcycle Toll Road Fees are designed to frustrate in order for you to speed away and be caught by moronic camera wielding traffic officers a bit further along the road from the Toll Booths instead of upgrading or maintaining the roads. Government does not care as they subsidise their BEE Toll Road Companies i.e Chapman's Peak Drive Hout Bay......
