You are hereby put on notice that your days as a self-serving middle man corrupting and compromising the conservative movement at every turn are officially over. We want low taxes, limited government and actual adherence to the Constitution. And if you are not prepared to deliver it, then we will find other candidates who are.

It is better to lose an election today, on principle, and win tomorrow with an actual, unified conservative movement than to abandon everything we stand for just to temporarily advance the interests of a party that no longer represents us.

This is a right-of-center country. If you would simply lead, the country would unite behind you (see Reagan, Bush Sr., etc.). But if you continue to undermine everything we are trying to do by cowering and compromising on issue after issue, we will make sure that you continue to lose and lose big (see Ford, Dole, McCain, etc.).

Our loyalty is to our country, not to you. And hollow, meaningless "victories" that put liberal Republicans in positions of power are of no use to us.
