PETITION TO ASK TRADER JOEвS TO STOP OVER-PACKAGING AND USE MORE BIODEGRADABLE/RECYCLABLE PACKAGING FOR THEIR PRODUCTS

In an effort to reduce pollution and protect the environment, we the undersigned respectfully request that the TRADER JOEвS chain of grocery stores immediately begins to reduce the over-packaging of their produce and other groceries and to begin using more biodegradable and recyclable packaging for their products.

TRADER JOEвS is a popular nationwide chain of grocery stores with their own line of groceries and household items. The packaging that they utilize is often neither recyclable nor biodegradable. This is a waste of resources that contributes to pollution and environmental degradation. Many people already boycott TRADER JOEвS because of this reason; therefore, it would be to the benefit of TRADER JOEвS, as well as the ecosystem, to adopt a more ecologically aware approach to the packaging of their products. By taking this initiative, TRADER JOEвS has an opportunity to become a leader in the environmentally responsible packaging of food and other products and to set an example for other grocery store chains and mass-marketers around the world. TRADER JOEвS, PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING - GO GREEN!

Thank you!

    • Thank you Thank you thank you whoever did this. I have actually stopped buying for the most part at TJ's but would love to keep shopping there. Also more organic everything would be a big plus.
