Why Score is Important to Communities across America

Score has worked diligently to position themselves to dominate the tutoring market. The changes that have been made to the curriculum and centers over the past 2 years, have benefited our children tremendously.

Score is cutting-edge and uses the right balance of computer-based training and small group tutoring. This structure creates an interactive setting designed to accommodate all learning styles. Learning styles is a big issue because teachers and schools typically ignore learning styles and act as if all students learn the same. This is not the case.

Years ago when computers became mainstream, local schools in particular public ones, could only afford a room of 30 computers to accommodate a school of 500 or more students. Much hasnt changed in the school system since that time especially with budget cuts and economic distress. Adding to this the fact that computers are in widespread use in society and some parents dont know how to use the computer.

Furthermore teachers no longer have the love of teaching. At Score it is just the opposite. The teachers are patient, caring and willing to get excited at my child learning. The children dont feel isolated and alone. The teachers bring out the best in my child.

In addition, Score is very affordable. Cost should not be a factor; but in reality it is a major issue, especially now in these trying times. Our children should be able to get a quality education regardless of income status. Score centers are the least expensive of the entire tutoring center in the area; but as parents we can attest to the fact of Score giving the best results.

The Kaplan Home Tutoring sessions that will be offered are not affordable or feasible for many parents. Home tutoring may also have a detrimental effect on the children. As stated prior our children dont feel isolated and alone when they go to a Score center.
Parents need a neutral place to take their young ones after they have worked with teachers and students at home to resolve education issues. Score provides a neutral, relaxed and structured environment where students can learn. They also look forward to going to Score. This is why we prefer to take our child to a Score center rather than have home tutoring.

To further explain, please review others comments as to why parents send their kids to Score:

I want to make sure my child is learning. My child is being retained and I dont know why.
My childs teacher is constantly absent and I want to make sure he is learning.
My child deserves the best I can give him
The public school system is failing me and my child
I did not have $10,000 to take him to Huntington
My coworker recommend Score and I thank her everyday
From day one my child enjoys going to Score to learn

We dont want Score to close because both children and parents need your help. Score is the BEST place to learn and gives parents a great value for their hard earned money. The small group tutoring and computer-based helps prepare our children for our future.
