The purpose of this petition is to show Honda Motor Co,. Ltd. that North American's want the Type R models of the Acura RSX and the Honda Civic, which are both for sale in Japan and other countries around the world. This is not to force Honda to bring the Type R models to North America, but it is to illustrate that there is a market for these particular models. The purpose is to give consumers around North America a single voice.

    • I live here in the states in california. Im a honda engine tuner and i notice the demand for the Type R models first hand. It has seemed silly that you as a company (Honda) havent given a effort to allow the Type R model cars to come our way. I love Honda and all but i think its time that we got to play with them.

    • I have a GSR now. Definetly interested in the RSX. Due to its lackluster performance and far superior cars for the price.. i.e WRX, the Type S cannot hold its ground. Therefore, I would only purchase the RSX in Type R form. 220hp is the only thing keeping me from not buying a Honda as my next car. I'll tell you this, Nissan is becoming extremely strong competition and I wouldn't be surprised if you lost a lot of customers to them.. Watch out! and take notice.
