  • Just because their are going to be new people on the show doesn't mean you have to do away with something that is just as much apart of the show as JACK (RDA) and DANIEL(MS) are. Just because one thing works for one show, doesn't mean it'll work for OUR show. ... I've already decided that Season 9 is going to suck with out Jack and you're still proving me right. As for Atlantis. Why destroy something that works? Messing with the theme for Atlantis is just stupid. ... And, as far as I'm concerned, Ben Browder has NOT earned the right to have first billing, that honor should go to Michael Shanks. ... and if you think I'm upset now, wait until someone posts a petition for saving our Jack and our Stargate!

  • The full opening credits sequences and themes are as important as anything else in the Stargate shows.

  • The opening credits are a part of the show...cutting them would be like cutting the Stargate out of all the episodes

  • The opening themes are an integral part of the character and flavor of both series, especially Stargate SG-1. This is a gross disservice to the fans who support them and suggests that the SciFi channel is dissing its own shows as well as the fans. There are less destructive ways to generate revenue than to chop out that which adds a certain degree of distinction to these fantastic shows.
