We are wondering whether you can make a case for us to raise the issue in the appropriate forum with the fact that government servants who are going for higher education are placed in deputation and are availing of all benefits including house rent and others. It doesn't matter for them whether their families are on-shore or not. However, university teachers going for higher education are given only the basic of their salary. This practice is definitely discriminatory with university teachers and needs your immediate attention for helping us all either by amending the university regulations or placing the issue to the government.

- I support the petition. There are other discriminations as well. I have noticed that some scholarship announcements from the Ministry of Education categorically mention that Public University Teachers are not elligible for application.

- I got to know that the teachers from Khulna University as well as Rajshahi University get house rent while studying abroad regardless of whether their family members accompanying them or not. So why it is different in the case of the teachers of Dhaka University?
