    • RTI ensures transparency. Transparency reduces corruption. Total transparency eliminates corruption. If government is of, by and for people, why should anything be hidden from people?

    • Any officer providing false or cooked up information must be terminated and all retirement benefits must be forefeited. This messeage must go to all GOI offices immediately since no individual can go to court and has no money to file a case. This action must be taken by CIC only after verification. Lot many people have started defeating RTI knowing fully well the limitation of individuals going to the court.

    • Don't amend RTI Act, Need of the hour is to tackle corrupt officials Kindly look in to the assets owned by MLAs, MPs and bureaucrats.. On wonder what magic wand they posses that they can multiply thier wealth in just few months. It is the time the govt. and the media discovered their secret formula so that the same can be used to mulitply India's GDP. If the RTI act amended it will restrict the common person to highlight their malpractices.

    • Kindly think twice before amending the RTI Act. At the most some rules could be framed to ensure proper implementation of the Act in the present form: the erring PIO/CIC should be answerable and be promptly punished.

    • Dont amend RTI ACT - Impliment it first. If you wish transperancy in governance - then strengthen the RTI ACT instead of removing its Teeth. REMEMBER - ONLY CORRUPT PERSON WOULD LIKE TO AMEND THE MOST HONORABLE ACT IN THE WAY TO CURB ITS EFFECT. WE ARE SURE YOU WILL TAKE CARE OF ITS BETTER IMPLIMENTATION INSTEAD OF AMMENDMENTS.
