We urge you to heed our non-partisan appeal to obey both international & US laws that prohibit wars of aggression. It is your sworn duty to uphold the Constitution. Already lies that led to war against Iraq in 2003 merit impeachment. We see a pretense to diplomacy toward Iran while the US funds terrorist groups in Iran. Iran does not possess nuclear weapons, just as Iraq did not possess weapons of mass destruction. Even if Iran had such weapons, that would not justify an act of war, just as no nation would be justified in launching a war against the United States for possessing nuclear weapons. You must not threaten to bomb reactors in any country! Our lives require this! Any bombing and the likely retaliation are unthinkable. To prevent catastrophes, we must return to our prior commitments to disarm, more closely monitor our own nuclear energy programs, and become a trusted nation whose leaders honor signed treaties. We urge you to take up the tools of peace, stop funding terror against Iran, stop the looting of our treasury for war, and now commit to spend NOT ONE MORE dollar on the highest of international crimes -- war of aggression.

    • Neighbors who didn't understand the lies leading up to the attack on Iraq, or who didn't see video footage of civilians being bombed by our planes, will at least understand that if we bomb Iran's reactor, all of our 100+ US reactors could become targets. These sit with tons of highly radioactive waste by our towns, lakes, rivers and seashores. Please share favorite tools for peacemaking, ready and waiting: the number for Congress soon in ALL our cell phones and shared everywhere, (202) 224 - 3121, the ready sidewalk, the poem unread. The alternative to war is a ripening harvest. Bravo neighbors who persevere in the harvest and its sharing, on the streets, in schools, in the halls of Congress. Friendship may prove stronger than war.

    • I think hatred will explode if Iran is attacked. My relatives, some of the brightest,, most talented, and kindest people I know, who are in Shiraz, the city so well known for it's poetry, could well be destroyed emotionally if not physically. Please end this horrible selfishness

    • This scares me to death-- and I may be right!! Whos to say that they arent stronger-- and with nuclear weapons to prove it?? I'd like to have my future, my life-- and to have them be SAFE. I hope this isn't going to be uncovered by future generations as my last words of desperation.
