This petition is to file a cease and desist against ebay from selling tattoo equipment, due to the fact that non licensed people can by professional equipment for illegal tattooing.

- I have see so many very bad tattoos done by people with no experience of tattooing who bought equipment off Ebay, some cases seriouse scarring and infections occured. Ebay must stop selling tattoo equipment right away.

- Sales of tattoo equipment should be self regulated by the industry. An open marketplace is not the right place to sell or buy tattoo equipment. Even if eBay can't be stopped from having tattoo and piercing equipment in their categories, if serious manufacturers would work together under one roof, it would be a first step in the right direction. An idea for this is the project: www.ink-bid.com which is a strictly trade only auction platform. Sellers and bidders are verified manually so the risk of having unqualified people buying and selling stuff in there is very unlikely.
