Valhalla Brandywine is an ultra exclusive residential community with an accompanying high-end spa and golf course which is planned for development in Wallace Township, PA. Unbelievably, twenty million dollars ($20,000,000) of taxpayer money has been allocated in the Pennsylvania Capital Budget bill for 2010-2011 (HB 2291) to build this private project.

I oppose using a single dollar of taxpayer money to build this resort and insist that elected officials at all levels oppose this mismanagement of the state's limited financial resources.

    • I do not want my tax dollars to fund this exclusive development while our school district is cutting education and laying off teachers. I want my tax dollars to go towards education, not building resorts for the wealthy.

    • Valhalla Brandywine is not something we want in our pristine township. Using tax dollars to further this extravagance is beyond immoral in these difficult times.

    • Funding this private project in the current economic situation in PA is irresponsible. Residents don't want or need this. If he can't find enough money through private sources, the finance community doesn't believe in it either.
