We are concerned that vegemite has been banned from sale and importation in the Unites States of America.

Not only does it have a great taste, its medicinal values are renowned. In 1939 Vegemite received endorsement from the British Medical Association which allowed doctors to recommend it as a Vitamin B-rich, nutritionally balanced food for patients.

Please restore Vegemite on the shelves of Americas Supermarkets, and allow free passage of vegemite jars, satchels, and tubes once again through the boarders of the Unites States of America

    • I've never had vegemite, and I personally don't care for salty food additives. But I will die for your right to spread vegetable paste on your toast.

    • Although I prefer My Mate, Marmite, it's a crime that this salty, beer based goodness is not allowed in the country.

    • I am not an australian, but I say if it hasnt killed them all yet, there is no way it can harm us. We are a country of freedom and choice, let us decide if it is bad or not. besides, its not like everyone eats it, just those who grew up with it or are adventerous. what harm can it realy do. LIke I said, the australians are still alive and they have been eating vegemite for years.
