To Whom It May Concern,

Whereas a Verge of Collapse live show is consistently one of the biggest draws in Rochester, with very enthusiastic fans of all ages....

and whereas Verge of Collapse are also one of few active bands in Rochester playing Original music of the Heavy Metal variety....

we the undersigned, strongly petition the promoters of the rock and metal shows at Mayo Civic Center, as well as ZROCK 107.7 KDZZ, to seriously consider Verge of Collapse as an opening act for any upcoming rock shows that may take place in Rochester.
we feel that not only do they deserve a chance to play on the same stage as some well known, national acts...but we feel that Verge of Collapse and the fans that they would bring to a show, are a good representation of what to expect at a rock show in Rochester, and would only help to bring more attention to the music scene in Rochester....thus allowing for more rock and metal to be brought to Rochester.

    • I used to be completely against this type of heavy metal but after acutally going to 4+ shows I've gained much respect for these men, their talent and of course the music. Their music attracts a large group aged 13-30...I think allowing them to perform at the civic center would greatly increase crowd attendence as the guys of Verge of Collapse are very effective promoters and are clearly of local celebrity status here in rochester as well as the surrounding area communtities.

    • I support local music, especially in Rochester, and I am a fan of Verge of Collapse. Put them on a show and I will be there, even if a crappy band like Puddle of Mudd is the headliner.
