As loyal supporters of the Liberal Party of Canada we believe that you have caused serious damage to the party's credibility and believe that you staying on in the leadership will only damage the party further and reduce our chances of defeating Harper in the next election. You have once again displayed the old backroom tactics that got the Liberals in trouble in the first place

- Accepted donations from children 11 and 12, then tried to argue they willingly forked over $5,400 because they were inspired by a speech you gave at their school

- Signing up the decease and unpaid memberships in Quebec

- Signing up many instant members to take over riding associations

- Expense accounts when cabinet minister that were way out of line with your other colleagues

- Comparing the Conservatives to the KKK, who we disagree with as a party but would not stoop that low

- Claiming you are victim of discrimination against Italians, which is an insult to all those who have in the past suffered from discrimination. It is your own behaviour, not because of your ethnicity that has landed you in trouble Mr. Volpe.

For the good of the Liberal Party of Canada and the good of the country, we ask that you step-aside as leadership candidate and do not throw your support behind anyone else as your endorsement would damage their credibility in the next election.
