- We moved here a year ago to retire...and now we find we are not able to find a doctor that will take us...we have to drive 4 hours to return to our old doctor every month....if we had an emergency we would have to go to emergency in Wallaceburg..please do not close down hospital...

- Rural hospitals are the backbone of our community. If Wallaceburg looses our hospital the entire area will become a depressed area. The only resolve left for this area is as a retiree community, that also will be lost if the hospital closes. Suggest that you visit this small community and witness for yourself the loss of industry and plant closings that have occured over the years.

- I had three children at that hospital, plus my daughter who had spinal meningistis was saved there and is now a nurse. If further away from us, I am afraid she would not have made it. Life should be getting easier, not sliding back to the old days

- You have to wait hours in local emergency rooms and for service, so I cannot understand why a hospital should be closed

- We need to keep our hospital in Wallaceburg, we have been fighting for years for our hospital. Chatham Kent Health Alliance has never treated us fairly and joining them was the worse decision we have ever made. Back in the 40's we had to go to Chatham to go to the hospital, this is a shame if you take us back more than 50 years. Please help us to save Sydenham Distirct Hospital it was built by the people of Wallaceburg and it needs to stay here.

- Loosing our hospital is on the minds of Wallaceburg and surrounding areas every day. I have used the ER many times but 2 of those times if I would have had to go to Chatham or Sarnia I would have died. Will this happen again? I don't know but I think of it each and every day. We are desperate to have OUR HOSPITAL BACK!!!
