Warhammer Collector's Edition Head Bug

Dear Mythic,

Many of your customers, specifically people who had enough faith in you to preorder the Collector's Edition of Warhammer Online, have had their characters marred through no fault of their own. Through a bug with the dye merchant, these customers (wishing only to preview the Collector's Edition head) got stuck with a change to their characters that they did not want.

When these customers have asked for this bug to be fixed, you have told them that once they have chosen to apply the CE head, they are stuck with it. While this policy is fair enough for customers who actually chose to change their head, the customers in question did not choose to make this change to their characters, but rather fell victim to a flaw in your system.

This bug is causing these customers no small amount of frustration and disappointment. As these are paying customers, it only makes sense that you would wish to keep them happy.

We ask that you show sympathy on these paying customers, all of whom paid extra for the Collector's Edition, and fix this problem, allowing them to change back to their previous, unmodified heads.

    • I am really disappointed in this problem because you made the faces poorly. I wouldn't even be upset about this if they looked good (made Magus face chubby, wrong red color and poor placement of Desciple hand, stupid skull faces for humans, the headband on elves is poorly implimented)

    • I too got stuck with a head I did not want because of this bug. As soon as I noticed the problem I reported it and was told to watch the war helard. Believing the matter would be fixed, I didn't reroll my level 8 character. Now I'm level 26 and still stuck with a face I hate and paid extra to get.

    • No where did it state when you got the ingame mail from Mythic that this "Reward" would be permanent. Does an issue like this mean that we have to check the Herald every day before we do anything to be certain that something ingame doesn't do something we will regret? How stupid is that? Does Mythic notice that we do care enough about how our characters look? Why would anyone spend some time creating their character, or even just spend time on the face if they didn't care what it looked like? Why not just make all the faces blank?

    • if i had known i wouldnt have used the head, it wasnt obvious when i used it that it would be permanant
