We believe the State of Ohio should impose a mandatory drug testing policy for all persons receiving and/or applying for welfare benefits to include medicaid. While receiving welfare/medicaid, recipients should have to submit to random drug testing. This is not in any way unfair or unconstitutional as people who work and pay taxes must submit to drug testing by their employers.
No increases in food stamps or cash assistance for family sizes larger than 4 people. People receiving Food stamps and/or cash assistance should have to show proof that they are attending higher education classes or have applied for 25 jobs per week.
The tax dollars saved by keeping people who use illegal drugs off of welfare could be spent on better projects, such as improving our schools, and improving public safety.

- I have witnessed a Section 8/welfare/foddstamp/ recipeient that has six children, her mother and father, and brother all living in a two bedroom home. The brother and father both work. The recipient supplements her income by two of the baby daddies paying her cash weekly and selling drugs out of the home with the children present. And you wonder why people that work everyday and can't afford to pay the bills are fed up with this system.
