To Whom It May Concern:

WE, THE UNDERSIGNED OF MARYLAND and surrounding areas, formally state our objections to any proposed legislation that results in NOT recognizing Outdoor Furnaces "small wood boilers" in the State of Maryland.

We submit that not allowing Outdoor Furnaces "small wood boilers" in the State of Maryland is against our rights. Many have had these furnaces for years, prior to your 2006 law, which if it is legal to sell in Maryland then you should be able to use the product in Maryland.

Many folks use these furnaces to heat their homes, shops, garages, etc. Making them illegal would put a hardship on many people. Most people with the economy the way it is do not have the funds to have indoor furnaces installed in their homes. Most people can barely put food on the table or gas in the vehicles. People are having trouble paying the electric bills. People are losing their jobs everyday.

Is this only the beginning? What are they going to try to make illegal next, wood burning stoves, pellet stoves, or maybe even fireplaces? These items put off the same element that an outdoor furnace does. These items are also used to heat our homes.

We respectfully submit this request for the furnaces to continue to be used in Maryland and surrounding areas. This is a way for folks to still stay warn in their homes for the winters. Most people have had training on how to use the furnaces and SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO KEEP USING THE FURNACES.
