This is a petition for all the supporters of Willie Revillame. Willie Revillame did nothing wrong! Willie was simply stating that it would be disrespectful to the former president that the Wowowee cast would be dancing and having fun, while people are mourning on the other half of the screen, which is true. Seriously though, think about it, if you were at a funeral home, would it be appropriate to have a TV with a show that has people having fun and dancing next to the coffin? I dont think so. According to Mr. M in an interview with PEP, Willie wanted to pre-empt the whole show all together. As mentioned in a forum, Willie was simply stating his feelings and opinions, and should be allowed to do that since it is a free country. Di ba? Willie just simply asked to remove the current wake, he did not scream it, people act like he did something wrong, but Willie Revillame did NOTHING wrong. The reason people were watching Wowowee was to have that couple of hours to enjoying themselves and be happy. During such sad occasions like that, we all need a break and we all need to be reminded every now and then that life must go on. If people wanted to watch the whole funeral procession they would have changed it to a different channel like ANC. However, there is a reason why they were watching Wowowee, and it may differ from person to person, but for some it may have been just to make them laugh or smile even just for those couple of hours. Willie Revillame helps so many people around the world every day. He gives money to those in need, he just gave away a total of 2 millions pesos, that someone gave him. Others would have just been hush hush and kept it all for themselves, but not Willie he gave 500,000 to Bantay Bata, 500,000 to 71 dreams foundation, to the OFWs who want to come back to the Philippines but cant, he also gave money help separate the conjoined twins in the Philippines, and many many others. Willie helps so many people, and most of the time it is out of his own pockets and we dont even see it on the air since Willie is a humble person. Why is it that people make such a big deal out of one persons opinion? Is it because they are jealous, or want Willie to fail? Well that will never happen because Willie has so many supporters all over the world. Why not focus on the things that really matter like poverty, the economy, and the sick? Willie loved Tita Cory and she loved Willie. Willie was just trying to give the Aquino family the respect they needed. More Power to the best most caring, loving, host in the world. We love Willie Revillame and will support you always. Please bring Willie back to Wowowee. Without Willie, the show is just another regular show, but with Willie, we have happiest and best airing show in the worldWOWOWEE. BRING WILLIE BACK!!!

    • To whoever wrote this petition: are you out of your mind? Just review the video of the incident, and admit that Willie Revillame wanted the coverage of Pres. Aquino's funeral cortege be taken off the air because, according to him, it was interfering with HIS ability to have fun. If that's not arrogance, I don't know what is. Yes, his show may bring financial relief to contestants, but only at such a high cost to their dignity. Besides, it's not Revillame's money to give away, it's ABS-CBN's. We have enough trashy personalities on local media. We can certainly do with one less - by that I mean Willie Revillame.

    • I agree. We all know that eventhough Willie acted arrogant, his intentions about the whole thing are good. It would have been even more disrespectful to the Late President if he just let the procession be showed while girls are gyrating and having fun. Some would say that he should have done it off air. Yes he could have but being a strongly opinionated person, Willie chose to deal with it right away rather than having it continue any longer further disrespecting the late President. Although I think Willie could've chosen better words to explain, what he did was enough to put his point across. Don't request to OUST a person just because you think he is arrogant.. Also, the Aquinos doesn't seem to be affected by it. So if the Aquinos who are family of the departed are okay with it? ano pang problema? Bring Willie Back!!!!

    • Dear Petitioner: Thank you for your Petition. Rest assured we will give this matter our utmost attention. We are hearing BOTH sides of the issue and weighing in all the issues. Comments and votes by both sides of the issues are being considered and evaluated. Right now we are weighing in your Petition's 5 (FIVE) votes vs. the Petition to Oust Willie's 58,133 votes. It will be a tough and difficult process for us but we will try to make a fair assessment. Oh wait.. my staff just informed me that out of the 5 votes of this petition, 2 are the same comment (Nina), 2 are also the same but is ANTI-Willie (Jeffrey) and 1 did vote as a supporter (Bugoy) however he acknowledges Willie did do something wrong (although he still supports him despite that). So this petition actually have 1.5 (or one and a half) votes so far. We will weigh this vs the 58,133 votes of the ANTI-WILLIE petition. Thank You. Its going to be tough.
