More Info at:
We love the iPhone/iPod/iPod-Touch interface but we want to play unprotected WMA (Windows Media Audio) files on an iPhone/iPod/iPod-Touch.
We don't want to convert these files because it would (a) take ages and (b) more than likely end up with lower quality hence we'd like a WMA codec for the afore mention products.

- Yeah WTF Im sitting here on computer want to play some .wma songs on my iphone and listen with headphones Ill use itunes bloatware hopefully it will even get the album cover so thats fine but now you tell me I cant play wma. Come on apple if history has taught you anything its that an open free approach leads to more support.

- Please allow this! It'll slow for so much more to be done with Apple's iPod!

- This would save an enormous amount of time and effort which is currently spent converting then re-converting files before you can finally use them
