Are you a long-suffering Minnesota Timberwolves fan who is ready for a change in attitude and direction? Are you fed up with the ineptitude of the current regime and are looking for a fresh perspective? Well look no further than ESPN.coms own Sports Guy, Bill Simmons! Bill, bless his heart, is one of the few writers who actually writes profusely about the National Basketball Association, and is simply a great basketball mind. Dont believe me? Check out just a sampling of some past articles and see if Mr. Simmons makes sense to you.

    • I will NOT attend another game (and probably not watch any for that matter) until a new GM AND coach are put in place. Good luck filling the Target Center next year. The only reason I attended a game this past season was because I got a free ticket to watch LeBron and the Cavs. McKale sucks, the team sucks....we need CHANGE!! Why not give Simmons a shot? - if you haven't already burned that bridge.

    • Mr. Taylor, please do the right thing for this franchise. You're being used by so called 'legitimate canidates' to fatten their pocket book with their current clubs. Hire somebody who will give a damn about the franchise and have the acumen of how to build a franchise in todays NBA.

    • This is the worst franchise in the league. I vow to go on Bill's payroll as the VP of Uncommonly Common Sense, as in you should draft Brandon Roy since we need someone to contribute right away, or maybe trading Theo Ratliff's expiring contract versus waiving him would be a good choice. A monkey trained to flip a coin is better than anyone Taylor is looking to hire. The question isn't Why hire Bill Simmons, it's why not hire Bill Simmons?

    • McHale has worn out his welcome here. He is a choke-artist loser, and we need some cojones in the front office. GET A REAL HEAD COACH BTW!!! NOBODY IN THEIR RIGHT MIND SHOULD THINK DWAYNE CASEY/RANDY WITTMAN SHOULD BE LEGITIMATE NBA LEADERS!!! IT IS TOO BAD FLIP GOT SIGNED TO THE WIZ, I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HIM BACK.
