Dear Les Moonves, President of CBS:
We, the fans of "Walker, Texas Ranger" want to see a sequel to the television movie of the week, "Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial By Fire". We have been waiting for over a year, and we still have yet to see any sign of a second film.

As loyal fans of the hit CBS telivision show, we are disappointed and saddened that CBS appears to have neglected the project. We love "Walker, Texas Ranger", and have supported it since its inception in 1993. So please don't set it on the shelf. We're the ones who boosted the ratings of Saturday nights on CBS for eight consecutive years. We deserve some closure to the cliffhanger ending we were left with, and it's not fair of the network to leave us hanging in the balance.

When considering the ratings, we ask the President of CVS Telivision to remember that it wasn't the lack of fans who tuned in, it was the football game that ran overtime that hurt the ratings of the Oct. 16, 2005 movie of the week. So give Walker another chance!

    • I have watched probably all of the series over the years with my grandson'sn and later with my granddaughters. There are not too many shows that promote honesty, dedication, hard work and integetey. Doing the right thing no matter what the out come is something that is hard to demonstrate to 3 young boys and 2 granddaughters but with Walker it's not so hard to tell the good guys / girls from the bad boys / girls. I actually have an ex son-in-law thathates the Walker series because " he is so good and he has demonstrated that family matters, which translates to domestic violence should not be tolerated and should be prosecuted. Police are not bad and hitting is not the only way to settle a disagreement. Garrett, Samantha, Kaitlyn, Trevor, Kakeb and I miss the show. We still watch all of the reruns regardless of the channel it comes on.

    • Is this the way to end a movie? Surely not. A seuquel to Trial by Fire is due, long-time fans of the series really deserve to get a decent ending. Donlt let a wining series elapse into oblivion by ending it in such a bad style.

    • I was a fan of walker as a little child and have resently started watching it again sadly I missed the movie but through my research have found out just about eveything and I think it is extreamly unfair to do that to the fans you must follow up the terrible cliff hanger you left them on

    • you stink if you don't give fans any closer on the cliff hanger I may be a young fan but I grew up watching walker and as a 16 year old I now understand it and like it for other reasons than my parnents are watching it and its watch it or go to bed I didn't get to see the movie so I would like it to be aired again and also get the closer cause I know what happened at the end of the first one
