Bring Look and Read Stories out on Dvd

  • I would like every Look and Read story to be available on dvd so people can have the choice of which ones to buy. My personal favourites are Dark Towers, Fairground, Badger Girl, and Geordie Racer. What are everyone else's personal favourites and do you agree that all stories should be made available.

  • Why the BBC has not done this for general buying, I do not know. I for one would purchase the entire collection as I spent most of last year taping them.

  • Because of the quality of ALL look and read stories, it would not be fair to release only SOME of them. Different stories mean different things to different people. Having said that, if THE BOY FROM SPACE / SKY HUNTER/ DARK TOWERS/ JOE AND THE SHEEP RUSTLERS were to be released, any DVD company, would (garenteed) make easy money on such releases, as i don't think distributors realize how many fans are actually out there. Special features could include, the whole episodes with the story, and a option to simply watch the story. Old BBC2 schools countdown clocks , tv spots, artwork, cast interviews, biographies, text, etc. I'd buy all of them. So come on, get them released, it shouldn't cost much, it's not as if it's a life-affirming DVD release like 'GLITTER' with maria carrey, or 'GIGLI' with the dreadful J-LO!!!!
