Honestly, I've had enough of this bull****. Vince McMahon, HHH, and the rest of the family are absolutely ruining everything I loved about my childhood.
When I was young, I used to love turning on an episode of Raw and seeing awesome angles and matches. I watched when Undertaker defeated Damien Demento. I watched when Mr. Perfect sent Ric Flair packing. I watched when Marty Jannetty became the IC Champion, and when 123 Kid beat Razor Ramon. Years later, I watched Stone Cold stun Vince McMahon and give birth to the attitude era. I watched Stone Cold and Mike Tyson brawl. I watched DX imitate The Nation, Mr, Socko first appear, Mankind winning his first WWF Championship, and Rock: This is your life. I wasn't an idiot who started watching in 2003, bought a DVD and wrongfully claims to have marked out for those great moments. I watched all of those WHEN they happened and I loved each and every one of those.
And when Smackdown came along, and Raw continued to grow, I grew more attached to wrestling. Hell, I put DX reuniting in 2006 up there with one of the alltime great moments in WWF/E history. But in the past year, I've seen Vince McMahon absolutely ruin everything that was good about his product before. Him and his dumbass crew are raping me and every other true wrestling fan of their childhood, and I can't stand it anymore. Last nights Raw was the writing on the wall for me, because now I know the truth.
Now, I'm almost 19 years old and I've been watching wrestling for about 17 years. And I think it's time to pack it in and call it just another phase in my life that I grew out of. I'm tired of my childhood being disgraced. I'm tired of Vince McMahon raping the entire history of pro wrestling by buying the video libraries of old wrestling promotions, only to talk about how much of a joke they were and blatantly put himself and his own company over. Why would he do that himself? Because nobody else would be willing to do that for him. When you look at someone talk about how great WWE is, they're Bull****ting. You can tell that's not how they really feel. They hate what Vince McMahon has done for wrestling, and rightfully so. The only person believing what Vince is saying is Vince himself.
I've had enough, so my time as a wrestling fan is no more. But I'm not just going to let Vince continue to run my childhood into the ground. I'm demanding that Vince McMahon sell all the video libraries of WCW, ECW, and every other promotion he owns the footage of, IN ADDITION TO everything WWF/WWE prior to 2002. If all he's going to do is insult good wrestling by talking about how great it is now, screw him. He doesn't deserve those video libraries.
