  • Nintendo is the root of all the gaming systems out today. Back in it's time, it was the premier system! Many of us resort to downloading roms and such because we want to play those games we can't buy anymore. If there is such a demand for the ROMs, that means demand for the games would be incredible. Like the war with MP3s, MP3s haven't decreased sales in the music industry, they have increased, because people like what they hear and buy it! So, at least don't forget the system existed, as you can't find anything about it on any official NIntendo source.

  • as a part of the generation it raised, the mario generation, i want it back. i think i speak for us all when i say that we remember long nights of classics like zelda and SMB, and that those were truly the golden days. bring it back.

  • What if people threw out books,videos,etc. after they were 2-5 years old? This is what is happening with computer and video games. Some older games are as good, if not better, than modern ones. So set an example by bringing the NES back.

  • PLEASE bring it back, I still play the NES, especially FF1. But my NES won't live much longer. I haven't resorted to emulation for faith that Nintendo will bring it back or make an attachment similar to the GB tower in Pokemon Stadium.

  • The NES was the best system, witht he best actual games. What system develpoed more mascots and recognizable characters? Mario, Link, Samus, Mega Man, all became famous due to the NES. My friend and I started playing River City Ransom the other day and the gameplay was still there, it didn't need the hi-powered graphics of today. So I say the NES should be remembered and cherished, and played even today./*
